Forschungsschwerpunkte

Lehren und Lernen an Hochschulen erfolgt zunehmend in Kontexten von Digitalität und Digitalisierung. Dies erfordert (medien)didaktisch informierte Betrachtungen auf der Mikro-, Meso- und Makroebene. Neben abgeschlossener, umfangreicher Forschung zu Hochschullehre im Kontext des emergency remote teaching, erfolgt ebenso die Auseinandersetzung mit Fragen nach dem Einsatz von Open Educational Resources in Lehr-Lern-Kontexten und Student Engagement.

Internationalisierung und Digitalisierung sind Querschnittsthemen der strategischen Hochschulentwicklung, deren komplementärer Charakter zunehmend auch auf der Ebene der didaktischen Gestaltung von Lehrveranstaltungen genutzt wird. Hier besteht der Bedarf nach Forschung hinsichtlich der Erfassung von Lernergebnissen, der didaktischen Gestaltung international kollaborativer Veranstaltungen und der Betrachtung hochschulischer Strategien für dieses Feld. Forschung zu diesem Schwerpunkt wird am Lehrstuhl aktuell über die Analyse von hochschlichen Internationalisierungsstrategien durchgeführt.

Der Einsatz von Forschungssynthesen als forschungsmethodischer Zugang nimmt auch in den Bildungs- und Erziehungswissenschaften zu. Dies ist auch für die Themenbereiche der Medienpädagogik und –didaktik, bzw. Educational Technology, sichtbar. Gleichzeitig bedarf es der kritischen Prüfung, inwieweit dieser Ansatz auf bildungswissenschaftliche Fragestellungen und ihren spezifischen Charakter hin methodisch weiterentwickelt werden und wie eine solche Adaptation aussehen kann.
