Invitation to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)

“Mobilities to open education: interdisciplinary learning for the future”

to be held in the fall term 2025/26 virtually and on-site at the University of the Balearic Islands (Ibiza)

between November 3 – 7, 2025.

Description:

In the course, students from University of Roma Tor Vergata (Italy), University of the Balearic Islands (Spain), University of Lleida (Spain) and Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany) will learn about openness in education, develop open educational resources (OER) and engage in international dialogue and exchange.

As part of the course, a virtual preparation phase takes place, equipping the students with a first understanding of openness and its relation to education, e.g. museum education, and joining the courses at each university. During the on-site phase at the University of the Balearic Islands, the groups will further their content knowledge and work in groups to develop exemplary OERs.

Teaching languages will be English, complemented individually by Italian, Catalan, Spanish and German. The BIP can be chosen as an elective.

Organization:

The BIP is funded by the European Commission and thus awards travel and accommodation grants to students.
